Dude, I saw this lineup (plus Ponty) destroy Nassau Coliseum right around this time, after Mahavishnu Orchestra opened for them. Kottke opened the show. She was amazing, like she is here.

I remember Frank being asked about why people thought he was on drugs, and he said something like "Because they're not used to excellence in music". No, Frank, that's not why thought you were on drugs. Stuff like THIS, is why people thought you were on drugs! I mean, you can enjoy if it you like it, I know I do, but there had to be any number of people watching something like that, thinking "What is that guy SMOKING?!"
